Lawrence O'Donnel vs. Liz Cheney on Torture

Liz Cheney, who has pretty much quit her day job to complain about how her dad shouldn't go to jail, faces off with veteran political correspondent and Big Love actor Lawrence O'Donnell in this clip.

Cheney's in right over her head. O'Donnell points out that we've prosecuted people in the past for waterboarding, and she just completely sidesteps the fact that it's illegal, as if it's just some kind of trivial detail.

Maybe she has the same view on the rule of law as her dad -- that it's completely OK if you're doing it, because you're the government, and the government gets to do whatever it wants. A sort of Nixon cum Cheney. Sorry for the double meaning and awful mental images there.
