Winner of Iranian Election is???

In what looks like good news coming from Iran, it seems that Former PM Mousavi claims won the Iranian Elections. This is, again, a very early report and I will keep everyone updated as I learn more. This from BNO:

Former PM Mousavi says many voters have been unable to cast their ballots despite the extension of voting hours.

AFP: A close aide to former Iranian PM Mousavi says the candidate has won the presidential elections with 65% of the vote.

Hopefully, this will lead to a better relationship in the West with Iran. While the President does not really run the country, much of what the President does inside the country, such as the Nuclear Plants, has an effect on the nation's Foreign Policy.

Final Election Toll's will not come in for a few more hours!

Preliminary Results from BNO:

URGENT -- Preliminary official results, after 5.5 million votes counted, show Mahmoud Ahmadinejad far ahead with 69.04% of the vote.

AP: Iran's Interior Ministry says Ahmadinejad leading with 68.8 percent of the vote after more than 10 million ballots counted
