From ABC, former Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-GA) talking about current Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA):
"I think she has lied to the House, and I think that the House has an absolute obligation to open an inquiry, and I hope there will be a resolution to investigate her. And I think this is a big deal. I don't think the Speaker of the House can lie to the country on national security matters."
"I think this is the most despicable, dishonest and vicious political effort I've seen in my lifetime."
"She is a trivial politician, viciously using partisanship for the narrowist of purposes, and she dishonors the Congress by her behavior."

Most despicable, dishonest, and vicious political effort he's ever seen? Is he sure he isn't talking about his Clinton impeachment campaign? That's projection if I've ever seen it.
To be quite honest, I'm not now nor have I ever been a huge fan of Nancy Pelosi, but I have to ask, why is he spending all of his time attacking her over the torture ordeal as an accomplice and not attacking the actual perpetrators of torture?
Of course, that's a rhetorical question, because we all know the answer: because Newt's in the politics game for himself, and vicious partisan attacks are what he's all about.
