While I think that some on the left are going too far to try to blame Tiller's death on all pro-life people, I think the argument can be made that some of the more radical elements in the pro-life side, who openly advocate violence and hate, are at least partially responsible for creating the culture that breeds people like his murderer.
It's important that we don't miss cultural elements when we look at violence in society. Whenever you see a trend in a large group of people, you know something more is at work than an individual's free will. That's sociology in a nutshell, and we need to apply a healthy dose of it here to figure out what we can do to reconcile people's views on abortion without bloodbaths.
