Left leaning sites like Daily Kos and FireDogLake, along with right leaning sites like RedState actually agree on something.

H.R. 2346, the 2009 Supplemental Appropriations Act, is terrible legislation. While the left and right have differences for opposition, we stand on common ground regarding one provision — we should not send billions of dollars to the International Monetary Fund to then bail out European national banks.

Jim Marshall and John Barrow are on the list of congressmen to call and ask them to vote no on H.R. 2346. Their contact information is below:

If you're in one of these Congressmen's districts, I especially urge you to call into their offices and urge them to vote no, because they obviously listen more to constituents than anyone else. Nevertheless, they are open to taking calls from anyone. Simply call and say, "I urge the Congressman to vote against H.R. 2346.

They both have a record of always voting to fund the wars -- which this IMF money is being attached to -- but the IMF funds may push them a bit too far. Or at least I hope it does. If we can fail this bill we send a strong message that we are sick of blank checks for bank bailouts and endless war.
